The Club will be open from 11:00 for those wanting to shake off Xmas excesses and start the New Year with a “sporty” sail! The forecast is for a SW wind gusting to 30mph -
The patrol boat will be manned from 11.00am and there will be a short race of approx 40 mins at 11.30. The river has red boards, the Environment Agency advise users of all boats not to navigate. Sailing cancelelled due to stream a simple lunch (£3.00) will still take place from 13.00 comprising;
Tomato vegetable soup
Jacket potato with choice of fillings –
chilli con carne, cheese, tuna mayo or baked beans + green salad
Mrs Bodgit’s fruit crumble with custard or ice cream.
Bar open as usual with tea and cakes from 15:00
