31 October Russian Balalaika Evening
The Russian Balalaika ensemble made a very welcome return to our club, performing a wonderful variety of songs and dances. They are a charming and talented group very well rehearsed and presented. The singers especially adding a unique contribution  of folk songs of old Russia. The virtuosity of the leader was breathtaking, coupled with the superb ensemble playing of the entire group, made this an outstanding evening of culture and technical brilliance.
