    The Club is open throughout the year every Sunday, and on Wednesday evening from 19:30. In summer from 6 May to 30 September it is also open on Wednesday afternoon from 15:30. Members can use the Club facilities at other times. The patrol boat will be manned when the Club is open, if conditions are suitable for sailing.
    On Sundays the bar is open between races, lunch (burgers) is available from 13:00, tea and cakes from 15:00. On Wednesdays the bar is open from 19:30. (18:30 from May to Sept).
    The 11:00am 12:00noon and 15:00 races are Series races with separate trophies for each Series. In response to requests for more short races the Sunday 11:00 and 12:00 events may, if conditions are suitable, each be a pair of short back to back races. The 14:00 activity will be Training, a Fun activity, Cruising (TFC) or a Pursuit Race, with emphasis on giving less experienced members a better sailing experience. On the 1st Sunday of the month between May and September the TFC activity will be supplemented with a Newcomers talk/demonstration aimed at members with modest experience, but suitable for ALL. Members needing help with rigging etc. or who wish to crew need to arrive at least 1 hour before the start of an activity.  
    All activities are at the club unless otherwise specified; those without a day specified are on Sunday.

Sailing Activities Details 2021

     06Dec2020 Not been updated to 2021. All races will start on time; races will not be delayed because competitors are not ready.
     The 14:00 activity will be Training, a Fun activity, Cruising (TFC) or a Pursuit race with emphasis on giving less experienced members a better sailing experience. With a Pursuit race a boat CANNOT be given a start unless signed on at least 15 minutes before the race start, the slowest boat plus helm (highest PB + PH) will start first and the fastest last; a boats finish place is their place when the race ends which must be held until it has been recorded.
    Wednesday afternoon Sailing will be from 15:30 starting on 5 May and ending on 29 September; the bar will open when sailing finishes.
    The Cundy Trophy long distance race will take place, on a day when the weather is suitable, concurrent with a scheduled Sunday afternoon race.
