The Cundy long distance race was held concurrent with Summer 10 race
because although not an Easterly there was a steady and consistant WNW 1 to 2 gust 3 (6 to 14 mph) wind
giving good sailing. The up stream mark was
dropped
ahead of the lead boat 20 minutes into the race at Rivermead Island at
Sunbury. Graham Thompson was
1st on PH (and BH) so won the Cundy Trophy. It
was a very enjoyable race.
